EXPOSURE
Exposure is the amount of light collected by the sensor in your camera while taking a picture. If the shot is exposed for a long period of time then your picture will end up looking extremely washed out. If the shot is exposed for a short time then your picture will look to dark.
Most cameras today have light meters which measures the amount of light given in the shot and will set an ideal exposure with quick use of your dial.

APERTURE
Aperture is a hole within the lens, through which light travels into the camera body. Most cameras designed today are like human eyes. The cornea in our eyes is the like the front of the lens, it gathers all light, then bends it and passes it to the iris. The iris can either expand or shrink, depending on how much light is gathered.
The pupil is what we refer to as the aperture in photography. Large pupil size equals large aperture, while short pupil size equals small aperture.

Depth of field
Depth of field refers to how much of your picture is in focus.
For example, a photo where the object is in focus and the background is blurred. The aperture (f/stop) controls the depth of field. Higher
aperture has more depth of field.

Shutter speed
Shutter speed is the amount of time the shutter is open. The shutter speed is measured in seconds, or in most cases fractions of a seconds. The bigger the denominator the faster the shutter speed.
Viewpoints
The viewpoint refers to the position we take the photo from. This will be the position you place your viewer in when they are looking at the shot.
Focus
The focus is one of the main things in photography. The focus is married to the sharpness. If a photo is blurry then the focus is not
on point. If a photo is sharp then its in focus.
on point. If a photo is sharp then its in focus.
Rule of thirds
The rule of thirds is a guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images.
White balance
White balance means adjusting colours to make the photo look more natural.
